CUTS Hanoi Resource Centre (CUTS HRC) has implemented the Project entitled, ‘The Greater Mekong Sub-region – Addressing Development Challenges in the New Globalisation Era’ with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Berne, Switzerland.
The Project would contribute to the process of bridging the gap between the poorer countries of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) and their better-off neighbours of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) by informing the stakeholders, especially those playing a vital role in this process.
Expected Outcome
Availability of reader-friendly, simple and concise papers analysing complicated issues related to international trade and economics, investment, legal and regulatory reforms, to the polity and the wide society at large; and
Enhanced capacity of various stakeholders especially the private sector, towards a strengthened role for them in the future of the GMS.
