“Training for Trainers: Competition law and policy” course

Quang Ninh, Viet Nam, September 21 – 23, 2010

Within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Competition Authorities in Vietnam”, CUTS, with the support of Vietnam Competition Administration Department, plans and coordinates a course to train lecturers in select universities throughout Vietnam on competition & consumer protection law issues from 21-23 September 2010. There were 24 participants from different universities in the Northern, Central and Southern areas, who would be the ones to disseminate the knowledge about competition to others when they are back to their universities. Senior researchers from CUTS International and international experts from COMCO were the key trainers for the workshop. That was an opportunity for lecturers to share and exchange their knowledge about competition. It is expected that a more in-depth training course will be organized in the near future.
